Lynsey Ansaldo
My name is Lynsey Ansaldo, certified Massage Therapist and owner of MassageRx. I chose this name because it resembles how I feel so strongly about massage therapy. I see every session with my client as a treatment and a therapy session. Massage to me is more than just relaxing you.
In 2017, I completed my massage training in Kansas City, MO. After school, my first job was at a Day Spa and quickly realized I wanted to work on more of the health side of massage therapy rather than just relaxing clients. I moved to Florida in 2018 and started working for a Chiropractic office. As a result of working alongside a Chiropractor I gained great experience working with various injuries and post surgery clients. The majority of my work has been on clients who have disk injuries including: herniations and bulging disks.
I have focused most of my continuing education hours learning about Myofascial Release and understanding fascia. Other education hours include Neuromuscular Therapy (trigger point work), Oncology massage and Prenatal.
I am eager to learn more about the study of movement and breaking the fascia restrictions that are causing you pain. My number one goal for each session is to make you feel your absolute best.
Myofascial Release
To understand Myofascial Release and why it works, it is helpful to understand a little bit about fascia. Fascia is a thin tissue that surrounds every muscle, bone and fiber within your body. My favorite example I like to use, to help you visualize fascia, is the skin of chicken meat. The white sheet of fiber that you see is fascia. When muscle fibers are injured, the fibers and fascia that surround the muscle become short and tight; causing restrictions and pain in your body. These restrictions can be transmitted through the fascia to other parts of the body, causing pain and a variety of other symptoms. A restriction can be caused by trauma or by continuous repetitive movements. Myofascial Release helps treat these symptoms by releasing the restrictions in your fascia.
CBD Massage
Enhance your massage experience with adding CBD to our session. Applying CBD to your skin may provide increased benefits of reduced inflammation, muscle soreness, stress and anxiety levels. Great for injuries, arthritis and high anxiety.
This massage oil is the only typical oil that is FDA-Approved and contains 0 THC. No need to worry about failing a drug test.
Experience a new way of recovery.
Prenatal Massage
This massage is for expecting mothers where I focus on the special needs of mothers-to-be. I use different positioning, pillows and cushions to enhance support, decrease pressure and increase relaxation for both the mother and baby. This session will help mother and baby reduce stress and melt away tension.
The Best Massage For You
Can you imagine becoming completely relaxed and falling asleep while receiving a deep tissue massage? When lying on my table, you can expect several techniques to be incorporated to create the best massage for you. I often like to begin each massage with some relaxation techniques to help slow down the mind to get you relaxed. I tend to work slowly, listen to your body and feel what it needs. Oftentimes, where you are feeling the pain, it is not where the problem lies. Every single muscle and bone are connected; I need to look beyond the spot where you are feeling the pain. My number one goal for each session is to get you feeling your absolute best.
